SYNTHESIS AT ANCIENT SITES ACROSS THE COUNTRY

Culture.

Renowned Macedonian ethno-band “Synthesis” begins Saturday a series of eight concerts, which will be held at famous antique sites throughout the country. Skopje Aqueduct hosts this week’s concert, beginning at 13,00h.

“The idea of this project is to support tradition, wish and determination to affirm these wonderful places, which are a bit forgotten”, says Vladimir Mandicevski of “Bagi Communications”, which are “Synthesis” managers.
All concerts will be open and free of charge. The gigs will last between 40 minutes and one hour, including songs from the old repertoire, as well as several new compositions of the album in preparation.

The concerts in the next eight Saturdays will be held in Strumin Grob (Strumica), Cifte Amam (Skopje), Isar (Stip), Heraklea (Bitola), Matka (Skopje), Vitolista, Mariovo (Prilep) and Stobi (Veles).

MD: Surprisingly Ohrid is left behind, but that is probably because of the fact that such things are almost always performed in Ohrid.
