WORLD PREMIERE OF 'UPSIDE DOWN' AT KARLOVY VARY FILMFEST

Macedonian feature film "Upside Down" by Igor Ivanov will have its premiere on July 4 at the 42nd international film festival in Karlovy Vary, the Czech Republic.
The film is an adaptation of the second part of novel "Navel of the World" by Venko Andonovski. The film is co-produced by Macedonia's "Sector Film", Croatia's "Mainframe Productions" and Serbia's "Cinears".
Filming took place on various locations in Skopje throughout November 2005 and May 2006, whereas its post-production was completed in Budapest, Vienna and Zagreb.
"Upside Down", written by Venko Andonovski and Igor Ivanov, has an all-Macedonian cast, which includes Milan Tocinovski, Sanja Trajkovic, Slavisa Kajevski, Nikola Ristanovski, Jordan Simonov, Marija Kondovska etc.
The film is financed by Macedonian, Croatian and Serbian culture ministries, as well as the "Global Film Initiative". The Macedonian premiere is scheduled in September 2007.
