ROMAN AND BRONZE TIMES NEAR THE WATER

Culture.

A prehistoric settlement will be constructed as a water museum at site Gradiste in Ohrid. The project for construction of a water prehistoric museum will last for two years. This year will be marked by the preparation of the wood intended for the settlement’s building.

“This museum will be a reflection of bronze times”, says project coordinator Pasko Kuzman.

According to him, the surrounding hill includes remains from a Roman fortress.
“Following its clearance, tourists can relate Roman and Bronze times in one place”, says Kuzman, adding that the project should be completed by the end of 2008.

MD: This is an interesting project, we are looking forward to see it being realized.
