THREE BEACHES CLOSED AT OHRID RIVIERA

Inspection services closed three beaches situated along the Ohrid Lake coastline.
"Most of beaches have met the criteria stipulated in the agreements concluded between the owners and the Ministry of Transportation and Communication, except three that were consequently closed today", said Mile Janakievski, the Minister of Transportation and Communication.
He added that tapes warning the swimmers that these beaches do not provide the prescribed conditions to be operational would be placed at their entrances.
Janakievski said that the inspections services will continue carrying out checks during the weekend, which will be followed by issuing of licenses as of Monday.
Transport Minister Janakievski met with his Albanian counterpart Sokol Dashi in Ohrid. The interlocutors discussed establishing a marine shipping line Ohrid-Pogradec and other infrastructure projects, as well as facilitation of the procedures for using of the Albanian port of Drac by the Macedonia businessmen.
