PROGRAMME OF 28TH MANAKI FILM FESTIVAL PRESENTED

The 28th Manaki Brothers International Film Camera Festival will be opened in Bitola on 25th September with “Turned Upside Down” by Igor Ivanov – Izi and will be closed with “I Am from Titov Veles” directed by Teona Strugar Mitevska.
The Festival Director, Tomi Salkovski said in a press conference yesterday that the programme also includes: “The Other” by Ariel Rpttel; “War and Peace 3” by Sergei Bondarchuk; “The Mourning Forest” by Naomi Kawase; “The Living and the Dead” by Kristijan Milic; “I Served the King of England” by Jiri Menzel; “Dolina” by Zoltan Kamondi; “The Zone of Ugly Swans” by Konstantin Lopushansky; “On the Other Side” by Fath Akin and others. Short-length and student films will also be presented.
“The festival is one of the best and most original because it deals with film camera. I hope that we will have a number of guests. The interest is really great and we will do our best in organizing the event,” Bitola Mayor Vladimir Taleski said
The winner of Gold Camera 300 for Life Achievement is Anatoly Petritsky, the bard of the Russian cinematography whose signature is on the War and Peace serial.
