APOSTOLOVSKA IN BEIJING

An exhibition of Macedonian young artist Gordana Apostolovska (1980) is opening at the Zhong Fang Qiao Gallery in Beijing tomorrow evening. The artist is presenting the Chinese audience with 20 drawings in ink. “I have organized the show on my own, and I am covering all my expenses. I will present drawings made in ink. The show is titled ‘Alteration’ and all the drawings have different motifs. I am using elements that I used in my previous works and combining them with elements I find in the Chinese traditional art,” the artist said.
Apostolovska is a student of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Art in Skopje. She has had two solo shows in Urania Gallery, Ohrid and has taken part in a dozen of group exhibitions. Besides Skopje and Beijing, she has had specialisations in Italy and France.
