Ss. Cyril and Methodius Children Youth Studio, which organizes the Small Bitola Montmartre Art Colony every year, is preparing for the upcoming 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.
“In cooperation with the Macedonian Olympic Committee, we are organizing a representation exhibition of works on ‘Olympism in Children’s Eyes’ for the third time after presentations in Sydney and Athens. Pictures from all over the world are arriving in Bitola, and a jury decision will select the collection to be presented in Beijing,” Nikola Glavince, a spokesman for the Small Bitola Montmartre said for MIA.
“Recently, we distributed 4000 cards with the image of Tose Proeski in Krusevo. The author of the portrait is our member Goce Trajkovski, and 6000 more cards that will be distributed throughout the world, are being printed,” he said.
