ICELAND COMPANY WITH NEW INVESTMENTS IN MACEDONIA

The Iceland-based Milestone Group unveiled plans for making investments in the Macedonia's infrastructure and wine industry in total value of 6 million euros.
On Wednesday, the Group officially took over the management over the Macedonian Kreditno-Investiciona Banka (KIB) - Kumanovo, after acquiring it in late 2007 for 4,4 million euros.
At today's Shareholders' Assembly, Jordan Trajkov has been elected as the new CEO of KIB, Makfax's correspondent reported.
Simultaneously with the announced investments, Milestone Group will donate 100,000 euros for humanitarian projects, including 30,000 euros for creating jobs for disabled persons.
The Macedonian National Museum will be granted 30,000 euros of financial assistance for projects involving research and perseveration of the cultural and historic heritage. The remaining 40,000 euros are intended for setting up a scholarship fund for Macedonia students that will enroll for post-graduate Business Administration studies at Iceland's universities.
