Texts on the life, conquering feats, experiences, speeches of the great ancient conqueror Alexander the Great have been published in the new issue of Portal magazine of Makedonski duhovni konaci.
The initial pages of the magazine brings short sayings, anecdotes, verses related to the great warrior and leader. Larger texts where Ljubinka Basotova and Eleonora Petrova-Mitevska describe many significant moments in Alexander's life follow as do excerpts from translation of works by antique authors, such as “History of Alexander the Great” by Quintus Curtius Rufus, “Alexander’s Life” by Plutarch, “Philip’s History” by Justinius and others.
Most cities in the world named after Alexander such is Alexandria, are also presented in the magazine. Our historians, ethnologists, literates, philosophers describe the great leader.
The second part of the magazine presents texts and poems on the ancient warrior topic written by our famous authors and poets.
