BICYCLE MARATHON IN HONOUR OF TOSE
Dusan Vodlan from Slovenia will begin 1.400 km. long bicycle marathon at noon in Krusevo from the grave of Tose Proeski to Begunje in Slovenia. Amateur marathon bicyclist will ride this long trip in honour to Tose Proeski, who was very popular both in Slovenia and entire Balkan region.
Vodlan is expected to pass route in four days. The race is organised by the Committee in honor to Tose Proeski and Association for Slovenian and Macedonian Friendship from Ljubljana.
The mother of Dusan Vodlan (53) is Macedonian and his father is Slovenian. His highest bicycle accomplishment is passing 2.000 kilometres for opening the Athens Olympic Games in 2004.
The civic initiative for collection of signatures for construction of commemorative house of Tose Proeski in Gumenje ends today in Krusevo. Over 5.000 signatures were collected so far.
