MACEDONIA IN FOCUS ON DUTCH FILM FEST

Macedonia is the country the first film festival Eastern Neighbours is focused on. The festival is opening in Utrecht tomorrow (through Sunday) with participation of 13 countries of East and Southeast Europe.

“The Shadows” by Milco Mancevski, “Does It Hurt?” by Aneta Lesnikovska, “Upside Down” by Igor Ivanov, “Mirage” by Svetozar Ristovski, documentary “Dae” by Stole Popov, and “Voyeur” by Aleksandar Spasovski are the Macedonian films included in the festival program.

Besides screenings, the Macedonian Film Fund will have four-day promotion of Macedonia as an attractive destination for Dutch filmmakers.

The Dutch organizer in collaboration with several institutions in Macedonia has announced presentation of the Dutch cinematography in December.
