The sixteen teams playing in the European Championship are split in to a total of four groups, with four teams in each group. Macedonia plays in Group D, along with Germany, Croatia and Serbia.
The opening match Croatia-Serbia is scheduled to begin at 17:45 hrs, which will be followed by Macedonia-Germany in 20:15 hrs.
Group A is comprised of France, Hungary, Denmark and Romania, Group B - Norway, Portugal, Spain and Ukraine, and Group C - Russia, Sweden, Austria and Belarus.
Macedonian national team has no high ambitions, aiming to qualify for the second stage of the competition.
"Our objective is to pass the group matches. There are many strong teams, but there are many with changed line-up, so it's hard to predict their performance at the Championship," Dragana Pecevska, one of Macedonia's best players, told "Makedonski Sport" daily.
The organizing committee previously said they wrapped up all necessary preparations for successful hosting of the European Championship.
