OSCE TO MEDIATE IN STRUGA SCHOOL PROBLEM
OSCE Mission will act as a mediator in finding solution for the problems in the Struga highschool center, which caused division between the Macedonian and Albanian students.
This was said at today's meeting of the local Security Council, chaired by the Mayor Ramiz Merko.
"We will talk with the Macedonian and Albanian parents and teaching staff in order to find a quick and efficient solution to the problems," the mayor said.
According to him, the conditions in the highschool center have to be improved. As much as 3,200 students and 300 teachers are attending classes in very limited area space of the center's premises.
Macedonian students continued boycotting classes today, whereas their Albanian schoolmates attended classes according to the schedule.
