GREEK POSITION FAR FROM COMPROMISE

Greece's position on the name issue in numerous segments is far from a compromise solution, Foreign Minister Antonio Milosoki said late Thursday after a coordination meeting of state leadership on the course of talks for settling the problem Greece has been having with Macedonia's constitutional name.
Milososki said the President's special representative to the name negotiations, Ambassador Zoran Jolevski, briefed the country's leadership on the Geneva round of talks. He however, denied to present more details, saying that 'it will be unfavorable for the entire process'.
- It was good to have such a meeting. Tomorrow, Ambassador Jolevski will also brief the leaders of main political parties in Macedonia about the course of the negotiations and the positions of both countries. He will present the real Greek position, which in numerous segments is far from a compromise, Milososki said.
He also welcomed the forthcoming visit of UN mediator Matthew Nimetz to Macedonia 'as it offers an opportunity to present our stands.'
Milososki said there were no announcements that Nimetz would present new proposal.
The meeting, conveyed by President Gjorge Ivanov, brought together Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Vice-Premier Abdulakim Ademi, FM Milososki and Ambassador Jolevski.

Macedonia is 4 the Macedonians
Macedonia is over 5000 years old
Greece or Greek or Hellenic was created in the 1830s which only makes this so called country 179 years old.
there are Two Types of Ancient Macedonians the Vlahi Tribe and the Slavic Tribe. the Vlahi People are the First people to live on Macedonian Soil the Name Macedonian is Vlah Word. the Term (Vlah) was Given to us by Out Siders in Bzy Times but before that time we where called and always known as the True Macedonians.

Macedonians don’t give up on your country for sake of Nato and Eu Entry
Macedonians don’t be fooled by our neighbours if we comprise we can enter these clubs. It wont end there they will demand more and we will be a laughing stock. To the whole world.
And if you change the name of our country the Macedonian people from Australia Canada and all over the world that are Macedonians will never come again and that will just destroy our economy even more than not entering nato and the Eu.
We are Macedonian forever in Australia Canada and America and all over the World we don’t even think twice about another name that can suite us we know what we are and we know what we want we want to remain as Macedonian because that’s what we where born as and our Ancestors where called for over 5000 years.
Don’t be scared of our neighbours. Just do what’s right not what other people dictate to you to do.

The Illyrians were the original inhabitants of Macedonia. The ancient Macedonians of Alexander the Great are thought to have been a Illyrian tribe. But the ethnographic picture of Macedonia was to change following the Roman conquest of Macedonia in 146 BC [1]. Naturally Roman soldiers, administrators and colonists settled in Macedonia. The native Thracian and Illyrian tribes had to learn Latin to communicate with the Roman functionaries and colonists. In the course of time, Latin became more and more the language of communication, and the ancient Thracian and Illyrian languages were forgotten. However the Thracian and Illyrian languages left their imprint on the language of the Vlahs. The Rumanian language (including its Arumanian dialects) is a Romance language like Italian and French, but the structure of Rumanian is quite different than that of French or Italian. These differences are thought to be due to Thracian and Illyrian influences. These Romanized Thracians and Illyrians as well as the Roman colonists and soldiers with whom they intermarried are the ancestors of the Arumanians (Vlahs) of Macedonia and Epirus.

the Vlah people go way back even before the Greeks the Vlah are Macedonians.
Vlachs + Slavic = Macedonian
Greece to day = Vlah Macedonian Turkish,Albanian,Roma all these languages exist in greece because all these people lived in this land before the Hellenic Period.
