COSMOFON AND ON.NET TO MERGE

Macedonian mobile operator Cosmofon and fixed-line network operator and ISP On.net, both owned by Telekom Slovenije, will be integrated by the end of this year into one company under a single name.
This has been announced by Cosmofon’s CEO Olivier Poncin. Personnel coordination will be carried out after the merger, along with reorganization and analysis of responsibilities.
It is unknown for now how many people would need to go. The new provider will launch digital TV in September, Poncin anounced.
