AMERICAN CORNER IN BITOLA CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY

The third anniversary of the American Corner was celebrated in Bitola last week. The event was attended by the representatives of the US Embassy in Macedonia, local self-government, the NGO sector and many others.
"The mission of the American Corner in Bitola is to build bridges of understanding between the people of the United States and the Republic of Macedonia, to share experience, ideas and to promote US values.”, said a representative of the Public Relation Department of the US Embassy, Jim Clark.
The American Corner in Bitola has about 1350 members who have book collections, publications and brochures in the area of media, education, economy, terrorism, illegal trade in goods and people, art and culture available in the corner.
