AMMUNITION DISSAPEARED FROM MILITARY BASE
National.
About 60 hand grenades and about 2.500 rounds of ammunition are reported missing from the Army barracks in Bitola when an inventory was made, early november.
Since the army barracks in Bitola are under a 24-hour security, it is unlikely that burglers stole them. The army set out an investigation in order to establish whether a mistake had been made during the delivery transfer of the explosive materials.
At the same time Makfax agency announced that the police arrested an employee of the barracks after finding a pistol stashed in her house.
