MACEDONIA EXPECTS EU TO START THE NEGOTIATIONS IN 2007

Macedonia's expectation, which is based on the results achieved so far, is that 2007 will be the year of setting the date for launch of negotiations for membership in EU.
Macedonian Foreign Minister, Antonio Miloshoski, said this in the course of the working dinner attended by Ambassadors of EU member-countries and of candidate-countries to Macedonia, the Foreign Ministry announced.
Miloshoski also emphasized the importance of quick completion of the ongoing negotiations with the European Commission on facilitation of the visa regime for the Macedonian citizens.
German Ambassador to Macedonia, Ralf Andreas Breth, said at the working dinner that EU integration of the countries involved in the Stabilization and Association Process stands high on the agenda of the German presidency over the Union.
