EUROPEAN DAYS OF CULTURAL HERITAGE OPEN TODAY

The European Days of Cultural Heritage will be marked with different cultural activities on the Old Continent including Macedonia as of today through 2nd October under the motto “Fortresses and Defense Structures.” In the country, the event is formally opening at the Museum of Macedonia today at 12.00 with an exhibition of photographs awarded within an International Competition for Photographs with the cultural heritage topic.
A historical class will be held at the Jovanovci House in organization of the Museum of Tetovo Area and the same museum will open an exhibition of children’s drawings created during a Workshop at the Memorial Museum to People’s Hero Goce Stojcevski on 26th September.
The contents of the European Days of Cultural Heritage also include a revue of ethnological documentaries at the Movie Theatre of the Museum of Macedonia starting on 26th September (11.00 a.m.) and education activities with video presentation at Dr. Nikola Nezlobinski Museum in Struga.
Museums in towns throughout Macedonia including Kocani, Negotino, Ohrid, Kratovo, Vinica, Kavadarci, Stip and others have joined the event and will mark it with various contents such as commissioning new premises, exhibitions, visits of archaeological sites and fortresses with lectures.
