SKOPJE JAZZ FESTIVAL OPENED

The Norwegian duo Susanna & The Magical Orchestra opened the 26th Skopje Jazz Festival with last night's performance at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet House.
Susanna & The Magical Orchestra were followed by the renowned Norwegian Sidsel Endersen and the Norwegian band In the Country.
The venues of this year's edition of the Festival include also the Universal Hall, Hard Rock club and Military Club.
The programme of the Festival that will last until 22 October includes Juan Carmona Grupo, Miguel Poveda Quartet, Jean-Michel Pilc Trio, Brazilian Girls, ICP Orchestra, Butch Morris' Nublu Orchestra, and other acts.
The price of the tickets ranges 200-900 denars. The Festival will close with performances of the Italian jazz pianist Stefano Bollano, the German Monk's Casino and Derek Trucks Band.
