MACEDONIA AT BERLIN FESTIVAL
Culture.
Macedonia will have its stand at the upcoming Berlin Film Festival for the first time ever. The stand will present the Macedonian cinematography and will be managed by the Macedonian Film Fund.
Labina Mitevska, who is involved in the project, says the Macedonian Film Fund will share the stand with the Serbian Film Fund, and its contents and promotion will be carried on in collaboration with the Macedonian Film Workers’ Association.
What is most important is that Macedonia has an opportunity to present its cinematography for the first time in a European festival. The stand is planned to promote everything from the most recent production, from feature films including “I Am from Titov Veles” by Teona Mitevska, “Shadows” by Milcho Manchevski, “Does It Hurt?” by Aneta Lesnikovska, and “Upside Down” by Igor Ivanov to anything else in the short-length, documentary or animated production to film festivals such as Manaki Brothers Festival, CinEd@ys etc.
MD: The festival will be held on the 7th of February, through 17th of February.
