MACEDONIA TAKES ON NORTHERN NEIGHBOUR SERBIA

The Macedonian national football team will take on Serbia today in a friendly match at the Gradski Stadium in Skopje. This is the first match after a long time and of the new year for the national team.
Srecko Katanec starts the first game in this new year allready with some problems. The new player in the Macedonian national team, Ivan Trickovski from FK Crvena Zvezda, will probably miss the match because of an injury, Ilco Naumoski will also miss the game because of injuries and the latest bad news came from Germany where Igor Mitreski's Jeep was stolen with all of his documents, so he will not be able to travel to Macedonia.
Goran Maznov, Aco Stojkov and Goran Pandev are the available strikers, but Pandev is not expected to play the whole game, because of tiredness.

MD: Let's hope we can make this a win, Serbia is a very hard opponent, but everything is possible, we did defeat Croatia recently after all. The game will start at 17.00 Local Macedonian time.
