Turkey will continue to support the Republic of Macedonia in its drive to join NATO as quick as possible, Turkey's Special Forces Commander, Lt. Gen. Servet Yoruk, said on Friday.
A high-level Turkish military delegation, led by Lt. Gen. Yoruk, kicked off a two-day visit to Macedonia on Friday. The delegation includes eight Generals and an Admiral of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey.
During the visit, the Deputy Chief of Staff of ARM, Lt. Gen. Adyl Gazafer, briefed the Turkey's military delegation on the process of restructuring of ARM and defense reform.
Turkish delegation will visit Kemal Ataturk memorial room in Bitola as well as other cultural-historical sites in Skopje and Ohrid.

Considering Turkey's track record in Cyprus, Ankara will have to problem in supporting a divided Republika Makedonija, divided between a Slavic east and an ethnically cleansed Albanian west part of a Greater Kosovo.
