TRIAL ON CASE FOR VIOLENCE AT SKOPJE SQUARE

The trial of those involved in the violence that broke out last March during the protests against building of a church on the Skopje's main square, continued today.

According to the media, the police filed reports against 12 students protesting against construction of the church, and against 9 of the counter-protesters, who attacked the students.

If found guilty, the defendants are facing fines of up to 1,000 euros.
