JOURNALISTS BOYCOTT GOVERNMENT

National.

All accredited photo-reporters and journalists boycotted today's press conference of the Macedonian government in a protest of physical assaults on their colleagues inside the parliament and by police.

The reporters walked out of today's press conference in a protest. The members of the government were to brief on economy themes.

The boycott was prompted by attack on A1 journalist Lirim Dulovi by bodyguards of DUI's deputies, as well as the attack on Alsat TV crew member, who was obstructed by police to do his job.

The representatives of the international community strongly condemned the attacks on media workers, saying it was the most serious blow on democracy. The attacks against media cannot hide the truth.

MD: And they should. Gruevski has said that he understands it.
