MACEDONIAN CHOREOGRAPHERS AT BALKAN DANCE PLATFORM IN ATHENS

In organization of Lokomotiva – Center for New Initiatives in Art and Culture, Macedonian choreographers Iskra Sukarova, Ana Josifovska and Kire Miladinovski will be presented with their choreographies at the Balkan Dance Platform 2007 in Athens, Greece on October 11-14.
Iskra Sukarova cooperates with Dejan Srhoj from Slovenia, Ana Josifovska presents “Inside & Outside” and Kire Miladinovski promotes “(Not) Close”.
Balkan Dance Platform is a regional biennale in the field of modern dance, aimed at improving cultural dialogue through creation of a forum for presentation and promotion of latest and most inventive contemporary dance productions by regional authors.
The goal of Balkan Dance Platform 2007 is to urge development of modern dance in Balkan countries through promotion and presentation of regional choreographers and dancers, stimulation of new productions, cooperation and regional networking.
