Macedonian world renowned pianist Simon Trpceski promoted a new piano at Boro Dzoni Junior Music School in Strumica on Saturday. He had a half-hour concert on the Yamaha piano when he performed pieces by Claude Debussy.
The piano is donation by the Strumica local self-government. In Strumica, Trpceski performed immediately after his grand concert at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
“I welcome wholeheartedly the initiative of the music school and Strumica Mayor to buy a new piano. It will enable generations of children to practice and educate themselves musically,” maestro Trpceski said not hiding his pleasure with the opportunity to perform in his mother’s native town.
Trpceski dedicated his latest concert in London to Tose Proeski, the Macedonian pop icon who was killed in a car crash in Croatia, and said Tose was a man who had created the history of Macedonia.
