ISRAELI'S INVEST IN MACEDONIA

The Israeli real estate investment firm Gazit-Globe Ltd said on Wednesday it plans to invest about 100 million euros to develop a commercial centre in Skopje.
Gazit-Globe said in a statement it won a tender for a 42,000 square metre plot of land in Macedonia's capital with a bid of about 19 million euros, news agency Reuters reported. The statement added that the compound will comprise some 150,000 square meters.
According to Israeli media, the company plans to build a 60,000-square meter mall and office and hotel high-rises with 90,000 square meters of space altogether on the site.
MD: This is their first investment in Macedonia but the company is active in several Eastern European countries as well as India, Brasil, Canada and the United States.
