FOREIGNERS ABLE TO BUY PROPERTY IN MACEDONIA

Foreigners will, in the future, be able to buy land/property in Macedonia, vice - premier Zoran Stavreski announced today.
Citizens of the European Union will have the right to buy land, or houses in Macedonia while citizens from outside of the EU will be able to do so by reciprocity.
The only thing that foreigners will not be able to buy is agricultural land or properties. The government thinks that the making of this decision will increase foreign investments in the country and strengthen the bussines climate. This new decision will most likely start after Macedonia's EU entrance.
MD: Nice, but why should we think about this, when Macedonia will not even enter the EU in the next 5 years?
