BOSKOSKI BACK HOME

National.

Former Minister of Interior Ljube Boskoski returned Friday afternoon to Macedonia, after more than three years spent in the Scheveningen detention unit within the Hague Tribunal.

Boskoski at the Alexander the Great airport landed with a government plane, accompanied by his family, wife and children, as well as by VMRO-DPMNE MP Vlatko Gjorcev.

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and other members of the Boskoski family greeted him at the airport.

Later in the day, the former Interior Minister is expected to meet with Macedonian Orthodox Church Pontiff, HH Stefan, following a brief ceremony in the church "St. Clement of Ohrid" in downtown Skopje.

Boskoski Coordination Body and association "Dostoinstvo" have called on citizens to welcome Ljube Boskoski at Skopje airport, followed by a celebration on occasion of his return at Skopje square "Pella".

The Hague Tribunal Trial Chamber acquitted Thursday Ljube Boskoski, whereas Johan Tarculovski was given a 12-year prison sentence, including time spent in detention, regarding "Ljuboten" case.
