FIRTST NEW CHURCH IN 80 YEARS TO BE BUILT IN TETOVO

A new church will be built in Tetovo, the first one after 80 years, Makfax's correspondent reported.
The new religious object will be constructed in the north part of the town, at a 3,000 square meter-site located near the sports hall.
The total investment is estimated at about 1 million euros. The funds will be provided through citizens' donations, and a portion of the needed resources will be allocated by the Macedonian Orthodox Church.
The announcement of the tender for the architecture design and the execution of the construction works of the new church building is expected to be published after New Year's holidays.
The idea for the new church was initiated by the citizens of the Tetovo's District of Boris Kidric with support of the Tetovo's clergy, under blessing of the Metropolitan Kiril.
Tetovo's local authorities have already adopted the decision for building of the new religious temple.
