National.
The Macedonia-Greece talks over name row are due to resume Wednesday afternoon in New York.
The newly appointed Macedonian negotiator Zoran Jolevski will seat on the negotiating table across from his Greek counterpart Adamantios Vassilakis, along with the UN mediator Matthew Nimetz.
Diplomatic sources said that the UN mediator is unlikely to come up with any new ideas that would lead to resolving of the dispute. The same sources said that the negotiator Jolevski held consultations with the PM Nikola Gruevski during his recent visit to U.S. and had telephone conversation with the President Branko Crvenkovski.
No breakthrough is expected during this round of talks, especially when having in mind the -previous practice of standstill in the process in the pre-elections period.
