ITALIAN LITERARY AWARD FOR BORIS VISINSKI

Italian municipality Recanati has allocated international literary award "Conca D'Argento" to Macedonian author Boris Visinski at the manifestation on occasion of the 207th anniversary from the birth of Italian poet Giacomo Leopardi.
"In a century of changes and wars, as well as divisions of nations, Boris Visinski's work is a testimony with the sharpness of its literary expression about the fear of generations, who strive at the Balkans to preserve their historic values and identity.
Italian translations of the Macedonian writer urge the reader to take part in the deep disturbances of characters and events that occurred in his neighborhood", reads the rationale of the jury.
