BUGARIAN POLICE PRESSURE OMO ILINDEN PIRIN

OMO Ilinden - PIRIN, the political party of Macedonian minority in Bulgaria, was subjected to police pressure during the observance of the anniversary of Goce Delcev's death.

On the occasion of 105th anniversary of the death of Macedonian revolutionary Goce Delcev, the members of OMO Ilinden - PIRIN organized a rally in downtown Blagoevgrad and placed wreaths in front of Goce Delcev statue.

Dozens of police officers were deployed at the site. No incidents have been reported during the observance, Darik Radio said.

OMO Ilinden PIRIN leader Stojko Stojkov told the reporters in Blagoevgrad that few days before the observance, party members were called in for informative talks in police stations in Blagoevgrad, Simitli and Sandanski.
