MACEDONIAN PROTEST IN MELBOURNE
Diaspora.
A massive Macedonian protest will be held in Melbourne, Australia on saturday the 24th of May. The Macedonian Community of Victoria will assemble at Carlton Gardens (Corner Nicholson Street and Victoria Parade) at 11am and shortly thereafter march before the Parliament of Victoria.
This peaceful rally is organized in response to Greece's persistent denial of the Republic of Macedonia and Macedonians their basic right to an identity. This peaceful rally is also organised to address Australia's tacit approval of Greece's ongoing violation of customary international and human rights laws, in that Australia has to this day refused to recognise the Republic of Macedonia by its historical and constitutional name and to refer to Macedonians simply as "Macedonians."
MD: Every Macedonian in Melbourne and in the region should go there!!! look for more info on the link below!

Greece does not deny anyone's identity in fY/ROM. It is just concerned with the constitutional name. Athens used to refuse ANY inclusion of the term 'Macedonia'. But it LISTENED to its friends in the north and now it defends that it CAN be included. As a geasture of good will, it asks for a friendly gesture in return.
If friendship does not work with you people, tough luck, that is ALL Greece will ever offer!
Good luck with Albania, Kosova, Bulgaria and with remaining a united territory.

Where can we see picture of the demonstration? Also, what were the slogans at the demo? Thanks

You can't find pics of the demostration, because there was no demostration, but a little gathering.
100-200 macedonians only.

they've estimated approx. 20,000 people attended at the park, and 10,000 marched on to parliament.
