TURKEY TO ENCOURAGE BUSINESSMEN TO INVEST IN MACEDONIA
Turkey will encourage its companies to invest in Macedonia and ensure that the level of economic relations match that of excellent political and overall cooperation.
The visiting Turkish Parliament President Koksal Toptan made the statement in Skopje today, reaffirming Turkey's strong support to Macedonia's NATO bid.
Toptan met with his Macedonian counterpart Trajko Veljanovski and the PM Nikola Gruevski and gave an address before the parliament.
In his address to the Macedonian lawmakers, Toptan reiterated Turkey's disappointment of the "great injustice" inflicted to Macedonia at the NATO Summit in Bucharest.
He conveyed the stance of the Turkish government about seeing Macedonia as a part of NATO, as the country had already met all the necessary criteria.
