180 MILLION INVESTMENT BY TMOBILE

National.

Landline operator T-Home and mobile operator T-Mobile unveiled investments in Macedonia worth 180 million euros over the next three years.

Macedonia Telecom's CEO Nikolai Beckers told a press conference Thursday that both operators plan to invest 80 million euros each.

T-Home's investment plan has been already drawn up, while T-Mobile's plan has entered the final stage.

T-Home's investment strategy includes Fiber-to- the-Home project, network upgrading, creation of auxiliary networks, updates and investment in equipments etc.

The project has been already put in motion. It includes a lot of construction works. Once the construction is complete, it will create new jobs in Macedonia, Beckers said.

T-Home's executives announced new product package, scheduled for release in April, and it will be a real surprise.

Beckers confirmed the decline in landline telephony users. But, the number of internet and IP TV is on the rise.
