TANEC RECEIVES ORDER OF MERITS FOR MACEDONIA

Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski awarded the ensemble for traditional dances and songs "Tanec" with an Order of Merits for Macedonia.
The Decoration is awarded for special merits in preservation and fostering of the Macedonian folklore legacy and long-standing successful presentation of the artistic values of the traditional dances and songs in the country and throughout the world. By doing this, Tanec gave an exceptional contribution to affirmation of the Macedonian cultural legacy.
President Crvenkovski also awarded an Order of Merits for Macedonia to the civil association "Life Spark" for outstanding contribution in prevention of malignant diseases and especially for carrying out activities for improvement of the women's health and raising the awareness for timely diagnosing and modern treatment of breast cancer.
The President will hand over the State Decoration at a special ceremony scheduled for Friday in Skopje.
